Our After Sales Department provide world class backup for our products in field and our committed, skilled technicians are available 24/7.

Dezzi have a world class, Machine Re-build Department that is available to all customers and all brands of Earth moving machinery in South Africa and within sub-Saharan Africa.

Dezzi are proud to have established partnerships with 2 international yellow metal machine brands, KATO and CMI. We co-brand a full range of top quality, KATO excavators from Japan, in addition to a range of CMI heavy wheel loaders and Backhoe loaders from Turkey, which are manufactured with high quality European parts!

Additionally, Dezzi offer competitive tailor made financial solutions to existing and new customers and we have a total of 20 Dezzi branches in South Africa and other dealers that are strategically placed within the African Continent.

The company was founded in 1973 by Desmond and Louise Gutziet. Together with their sons, they have built the business from the ground up and their dedicated team continuously strive to provide top quality products, 100% parts availability,  excellent customer service and highly skilled technicians in the after sales department.

We pride ourselves in creating quality machines for our clients and our in house manufacturing allows for specialised 
custom-made machinery to suit our client’s requests. Our clients are able to visit the factory to discuss customisations with the Dezzi engineers and directors so that we can create customised machinery with top end solutions to suit their industry specific requirements. 

At Dezzi, we are passionate about supporting local and therefore, we make use of local resources and employ more than 120 staff in our Port Shepstone Head office and factory that is located in Kwa Zulu – Natal, South Africa.

OUR HISTORY

Dezzi Equipment is a proudly South African company that comes from humble beginnings. Desmond Gutzeit left school at 15 years old to start a job as an apprentice mechanic. After his army training, Des purchased his first tipper truck for only R300 that was loaned from his father.
 
He later purchased his first piece of earth moving equipment with the proceeds of the income. It was the building block that enabled him to form the Desmond Equipment Company with his young wife, Louise Gutziet.
 
Together they established and sold a number of businesses but always kept a hand in earthmoving machinery. This gave Des the necessary experience to understand what was required to work in our demanding conditions.
 
The first front end loader was built entirely without computer aid, simply as a challenge. This machine was sold before it was completed, and still running to this day.
